Camper Van Beethoven to celebrate 30th anniversary with new album, tour stop at The Independent on 12/28/12

Indie rock pioneers Camper Van Beethoven are ramping up for a thirtieth anniversary celebration in 2013. On January 22nd, the band will release La Costa Perdida, its eighth studio album and first in nine years and, in anticipation of the new record, a 12-date tour with frontman David Lowery's other band Cracker has been planned, including stops at The Independent in San Francisco and the Mystic Theatre in Petaluma.
