Photos: The third annual Clusterfest returns to the city

Craig Robinson and the Nasty Delicious (photo: SarahJayn Kemp) The festival that combines comedy, music, and art known as Clusterfest returned to San Francisco once again to supply the city with a weekend of all different types of entertainment. Be it traiditonal stand-up, alternative comedy, live music, or podcasts (of all types!), it's hard to find something that one wasn't aware of in some way at the third annual version of the festival. Review: Clusterfest 2019 stumbles through Civic Center

Drunk History (photo: SarahJayn Kemp) Words by Tim Draut and Dariush Azmoudeh Last weekend, Clusterfest took over Civic Center Plaza for three days in its third annual year. Although I was focusing on the musical end of things, I didn’t miss out on the laughs. A number of the biggest voices in comedy and music were at the festival, and lucky for us, our photographer Jon Bauer was there to capture this fantastic gallery below of all three days for you to check out. Some of the acts that appeared included Jon Stewart, John Mulaney, Nick Kroll, Cut Chemist, the Lonely Island, Drunk History, Salt-N-Pepa, Middleditch and Schwartz, Reggie [...]

Review: A cluster of lists about Clusterfest

T.J. Miller (photo: Jon Bauer) It may not be clear, but I actually really like to laugh. I am not always crying. I am usually pretending I am not sad, just making really bad jokes and laughing at myself. I watch a lot of TV too and throughout it all Comedy Central has always been there for me. I am the youngest of three, and the older two are 7 and 12 year older than me and men. My 7-years-older brother actually had a lil’ phase where he wanted to be a comedian, so my whole youth was classic comedies [...]
