City Light’s Burned Out Bright out now, show tonight

The Seattle-to-San-Francisco collaborative project known as City Light no longer has a sole album on its roster. Several musicians (singer-songwriter Matt Shaw, producer Nick Andre, musician/producer Denver Valley, musicians Andy Fitts and Marc Bianchi) have come together to release Burned Out Bright, a collection of sleek and bright electro-rock. The album is available now via Banter Media - check out "Someday Maybe," available below. City Light - "Someday Maybe" City Light are set to play the Rickshaw Stop tonight (Wednesday 3/3, 8 pm, $10) opening for Phantogram (NYC), along with fellow locals the Frail.

Her Space Holiday/City Light: New Single, US Tour

San Mateo's Her Space Holiday are heading out soon on their first national tour in four years, beginning with a kickoff show at Bottom of the Hill on May 6th. They'll be joined at the show and on tour by City Light, a multi-city project teaming Seattle singer-songwriter Matt Shaw and long time friend and Bay Area producer Nick Andre with Denver Dalley (Desaparecidos, Statistics, and Intramural) and Andy Fitts (Airport Cathedral, Aqueduct). Noise Pop: Saturday Preview!

Tomorrow is the last full day of Noise Pop, and it's a duesy. But before you start your night of shows, head over to the Pop N' Shop at The Verdi Club. This awesome independent design fair has become one or Noise Pop's coveted non-music events, and includes designers and artists selling clothing, jewelry, posters and more.
