Circuit Des Yeux performing in Oakland with REDREDRED, Replicant DJs
Circuit Des Yeux, the experimental recording project of Chicago-via-Indiana musician/vocalist Haley Fohr, is performing live on Friday, March 28 at White Horse Bar in Oakland with REDREDRED and Replicant DJs Kerri LeBon and Sky Madden. The show is presented by Stranded Music. Fohr's fourth LP released as Circuit Des Yeux, titled Overdue, was unveiled in October 2013. Recorded in Chicago using a one-inch Otari MX-70 tape deck, the Indiana native bends her emotionally rich, deep voice over cinematic orchestral compositions, acoustic guitar loops, and distorted noise.
