San Francisco's Chris Klippel makes perhaps the finest clarinet-heavy bedroom indie-soul I've ever heard, and he's back with a new collection of originals, A/B. Despite heavy influence from soul music of years' past, his continued excellent use of acoustic guitar and clarinet create a distinct style that is all his own, making him one of my favorite DIY artists around.
