Photos: Captured Tracks anniversary with Drahla at Starline Social Club
Drahla (photo: Ian Young) Captured Tracks, the Brooklyn-based indie record label whose roster has included DIIV, Wild Nothing, the Soft Moon, Mac DeMarco, Meredith Graves and more, celebrated their 10th anniversary by bringing their CT-X tour to the Starline Social Club on Sunday night. It was a ruckus night of fresh music from the label’s newest additions: New York’s Lina Tullgren, Auckland’s Wax Chattels and Leeds’ Drahla. While it was Captured Tracks who was celebrating a birthday, it was the crowd that got the gifts. Check out a gallery of all three performers below.

Last Thursday, January 19th, Captured Tracks showcased two of their West Coast bands, The Soft Moon and Blouse (with the opener Feelings) at Cafe du Nord. This was The Soft Moon's first performance with a live drummer, and they destroyed du Nord just the way they did last time, properly with strobes and blown out volumes. Blouse, a coy, bedroom pop-style band from Portland, was equally appreciated by the large crowd.
