Are you ready, South Bay? Thursday marks the kickoff of C2SV, San Jose’s first real music festival in recent memory. Hosting over 70 acts across 12 venues in the downtown area, stretched out across four days, there’s a lot of ground to cover. Stumped on who to see? Thee Oh Sees scheduled to open for Iggy and the Stooges at C2SV

It's official: San Francisco's beloved Thee Oh Sees are confirmed to open for Iggy and the Stooges at this year's C2SV festival in San Jose. As we announced last week, they’re one in a whole bunch of other bands playing the South Bay festival this year, most of which haven’t even been announced yet. Acts so far include Deafheaven, The Coup, Torches, Black Milk, The Lemonheads, OFF! and more. The Stooges will close the festival with a show in St. James Park on September 28th. First C2SV names announced: Torches, Deafheaven, The Coup, Stooges and more

The first drop of names for San Jose's C2SV festival has been announced...and wow, I take back everything I said about how lame the festival's name is. (Just kidding. I regret nothing.) Buckle your seatbelts, South Bay, because this is shaping up to be something much bigger than we're used to: Torches, Deafheaven, The Coup, OFF!, The Lemonheads and locals The Limousines are all confirmed as part of the C2SV lineup for 2013, plus headliners Iggy and the Stooges.
