Buzzmutt is no stranger to the Bay Area music scene. But last summer, the band embarked on a 5 week US tour where they hit some major cities and got a taste of DIY scenes all across the country. They even got it all on film. Buzzmutt to release ‘Strange Planes of Surveillance’ EP

Local, grungy rock band Buzzmutt is moving forward with their newest EP, Strange Planes of Surveillance. Born from the ashes of Sid Arthur, some of the members' former band, in 2012, Buzzmutt offers a heavy and deep sound. Their newest release combines 60s rock psychedelia with a notably noisy and aggressive twist, creating a reverie that is addicting. Dazed-out guitar riffs fill the tracks, a trance-like rhythm section keeps your head bobbing, and reverbed vocals fill in the space alongside numerous other ambient and psychedelic sounds. Ticket Giveaway: 20 Sided Records Compilation Release Parties presented by The Bay Bridged

As we told you earlier this month, 20 Sided Records is dropping a compilation entitled "These Strange Days" on September 3, and the San Francisco-based label is teaming up with The Bay Bridged to fête the new record with four release parties at four separate SF venues on consecutive nights from September 4–7. San Francisco's 20 Sided Records will release its fourth compilation on September 3, and the label is celebrating the new album with four – yes, FOUR – release parties in early September, all proudly presented by The Bay Bridged.
