Buxter Hoot'n announce new EP out 9/4/12, drop video for first single, and plan release show at Cafe Du Nord
San Francisco-based "indie Americana rock" band Buxter Hoot'n announced its fourth release, an EP entitled Na Na Na that is slated to come out September 4th. Recommended: Nick Jaina, Mark Matos & Os Beaches, Buxter Hoot’n, Monday @ Elbo Room
Thinking a little ahead to the near future (for once), this coming Monday, the Elbo Room is hosting a solid and extremely affordable evening of Americana/psych rock, with Nick Jaina (Portland), Mark Matos & Os Beaches and Buxter Hoot'n (8:30pm, $5 and $2 drink specials!!). Like other current superstars of the PDX folk scene -- such as Loch Lomond, Shelley Short and Weinland -- the Nick Jaina band boasts outstanding musicianship, vivacious stage performance and overall just embody the local folk flavor. Jaina is on the brink of already his fourth HUSH Records release, A Bird In The Opera House, [...]
