It's so refreshing to see bands like Braids -- two guys, two girls, all friends since high school, continually evolving as musicians with the sort of patience that allows for completely level collaboration. Baths - "Lammicken (Braids cover)" Having a full US tour with Toro y Moi under their belt, the young four-piece is already pretty accomplished. Their current tour falls quite some time after the release of their debut full-length on Kanine Records, Native Speaker, but the band is working on new material and reinventions of their heavily layered, long-form songs.
