Best of 2009: Lindsay Garfield of Or, the Whale on Blue Rabbit

First thing's first: Full disclosure. I used to help with Blue Rabbit's publicity. BUT, I assure you that I meet the criteria for a bona fide fan, i.e. going out to as many of their live shows as I possibly can, discussing them at length with other Rabbit Heads, and listening to their album obsessively. They reside and play often here in the city, and the feeling is that you'll leave this song on repeat once you've heard it: Blue Rabbit - Sleep Chelsea Wolfe's really stepped it up in the past few years -- a name well known in [...]

Review: Blue Rabbit at Hotel Utah, Nov. 15

How does one even start to compile and gather so much musical talent into one large group in order to commence creative outflow? In comes Blue Rabbit to answer some of the questions that spring from my curiosity. According to their bio, "Blue Rabbit is a band on the Bjork side of Arcade fire." I concur, and they definitely showcased that side at Hotel Utah in San Francisco for their [...]
