Over the past decade-plus, SF sound engineer Kim Greiss has worked behind the boards at venues like Bottom of the Hill, Slim's, and Great American Music Hall. Greiss was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer, and her friends in the local music community are rallying together to help support her as she embarks on treatment to defeat it. Birds & Batteries - "The Villain" The SF Conservatory of Music sure knows how to throw a benefit. Tuned In is a first annual benefit concert to support the Conservatory's scholarship fund, taking place this Wednesday, November 11th from 7-11pm at the SF Conservatory on 50 Oak Street.
