The Bay Bridged x Imprint.City Present: BayviewLIVE, featuring Kamaiyah

Mark your calendars — actually, clear your schedules — for this year's BayviewLIVE, a celebration of San Francisco's Eastern neighborhoods. The Bay Bridged is once again partnering with Imprint.City to bring you BayviewLIVE, a fall festival featuring all things local, with a special focus on the Bayview. A celebration of the art and culture that make places like the Bayview district of SF a treasure trove of talent, BayviewLIVE will feature food, drink, art, vendors, and of course, music. This year's lineup focuses on female artists and includes, for lack of a better word, some doozies. Old favorites Le Vice [...]

BayviewLIVE brings SF neighborhoods together with music + art this weekend

We've been hard at work with our friends at Imprint.City putting together the 2nd annual BayviewLIVE, a celebration of San Francisco's oft-overlooked eastern neighborhoods — and its bright future. It's not secret that the Bayview and neighboring Hunter's Point aren't the most heavily-trafficked areas of SF. It's also no secret that San Franciscans are often loath to travel beyond their own neighborhood's borders. BayviewLIVE will feature the usual street-fair fixtures like [...]

BayviewLIVE will light up eastern streets this weekend with Equipto, Jidenna

This weekend, Bayview residents will get their very own music festival: BayviewLIVE, a celebration of one of San Francisco's most overlooked, but no less important, neighborhoods. In its first year ever, BayviewLIVE is going big: featuring names like Equipto, DJ Future, and — drumroll please — Jidenna, BayviewLIVE will bring attention — and attendees — out to Egbert Avenue, one of the main thoroughfares through the Bayview-Hunters Point area. Though it's largely industrial, Bayview is home to businesses and residents that keep the city running. Presented by Imprint.City, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing educational and economic opportunities to SF's less-traveled [...]

BayviewLIVE brings live murals, Jidenna to eastern neighborhoods next weekend

Think Treasure Island marks the end of San Francisco's festival season? This year, there's a new challenger approaching: BayviewLIVE, a street festival that celebrates one of the city's most often overlooked neighborhoods. Bayview doesn't quite have the cool cachet like its eastern neighbors The Mission or Potrero Hill, which is precisely why it needs a music festival like this. Organized by Imprint.City, a nonprofit that brings arts programs, STEAM education, and other economic opportunities to The Bayview, BayviewLIVE was created with the aim of drawing attention to SF's less-traveled — and subsequently, underserved — neighborhoods. And it's hard to ignore [...]
