AU gets remixed by Deerhoof, plays the Independent with Zammuto (The Books) 11/3/12

Portland-based experimental pop-rock duo AU (Luke Wyland and Dana Valatka) have announced new U.S. tour dates in support of their third album Both Lights, which was released in April on Hometapes. AU will be performing with Zammuto on Nov. 3rd at The Independent in San Francisco. Both Lights is considered to be AU's landmark album, breaking into the indie-rock spotlight with what NME called their "first true masterpiece." Portland’s AU to open for The Dodos at the Great American

The Portland, Oregon-based band AU, which consists of Luke Wyland and Dana Valatka, will open for The Dodos as part of Noise Pop at the Great American Music Hall on Sunday, February 26th. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased here. AU is touring in support of their third record, Both Lights, which has been three years in the making and will be released via Hometapes on April 3. “It's the topography of me,” says Wyland of the album. Previous LPs include 2008’s Verbs and 2009’s Versions. Listen to “Solid Gold,” the first single off of Both Lights, below.
