Fog City Songwriters brings unity to Bay Area musicians
All around the country, in places like Nashville and Austin, open events known as "guitar pulls," where people share songs and pass their guitar around, occur on porches, in spontaneous circles and even in venues. A communal, DIY-esque song circle where each player becomes an audience member and stories are shared around in an open, uninterrupted atmosphere. Rah Rah, San Francesca, Travis Hayes, and Ashley Allred playing Thee Parkside, 11/30/12
Canadian indie collective Rah Rah will be performing on Friday, November 30th at Thee Parkside in San Francisco with San Francesca, Travis Hayes, and Ashley Allred (of Odd Bird). Rah Rah is an alt-pop sextet from Regina, Saskatchewan. The band's third album, The Poet's Dead, was just released in October, and was recorded with illustrious indie-rock producers Gus Van Go and Werner F.
