Angelica Rockne may live in Nevada City, but the former San Francisco resident remains closely tied to the Bay - she collaborated with western-pop band Evil Eyes for a time, she performs regularly in the area, and she recorded her 7" we're about to share with you at Hyde Street Studios with Scott McDowell. Angelica Rockne releases “Soon”, playing Awaken Cafe

Hot on the heels of January’s “Human Being”, Nevada City’s Angelica Rockne has released a new song, “Soon”, off her upcoming EP, What Will I Dream. With the squeak of fingertips on steel strings taking front and center, “Soon” is a strong reference to Rockne’s ties to Gold Country: a gentle, but no less affecting, ballad. Rockne's EP will come later this year, and she plans to hit the studio for production on a full-length in the summer. Angelica Rockne – "Human Being"

Folk singer Angelica Rockne just released "Human Being", the first single from her forthcoming EP entitled What Will I Dream. You may recognize Rockne's voice if you've spent time listening to Evil Eyes - Rockne was briefly a member of the band and provided backing vocals on Evil Eyes' Borderlines LP. The lonely "Human Being" shows Rockne is just fine on her own.
