(Photo: Joe Russo) Alan Forbes – a well-known rock music poster artist and citizen of San Francisco – was attacked in the Lower Haight back in October, leaving him with two skull fractures and damage to his right eye. With no insurance to cover the hefty medical expenses, Forbes has seen his friends in the music and arts communities near and far join together to help him through his ordeal.
