The effort to save Adobe Books -- which includes this ongoing Indiegogo campaign -- heads to Public Works on Monday night for a benefit concert with The Dodos, Adam Stephens, The Tambo Rays, Van Pierszalowski, and DJing by Andy Cabic. Video: Adam Stephens previews We Live On Cliffs

Adam Haworth Stephens has announced the release of his debut solo album, We Live On Cliffs, out September 28th on Saddle Creek. He also just posted the above "behind the scenes" video about the making of the album, and is giving away "The Cities That You've Burned" over at his web site. Stephens and his band have two weeks of shows with Blitzen Trapper this month, and a headlining show scheduled for The Independent on October 2nd. San Francisco Arts Quarterly Symposium 7/10/10

The San Francisco Arts Quarterly just released their second issue, and have lined up three excellent bands to help celebrate. Young Prisms, Adam Stephens, and Rumspringa (LA) will play on July 10th at the San Francisco Art Institute for the SFAQ Symposium (7:30 pm, free). A panel discussion led by J.D. Beltran will precede the music, starting at 6:00 pm. Adam Stephens, Two Sheds, Honey @ The Rickshaw Wed

In their first local show since performing at our Regional Bias event, Adam Stephens and his band The Finite Plain take the stage at the Rickshaw Stop next Wednesday. The Two Gallants singer-songwriter headed down to LA in the Fall to begin recording with producer Joe Chiccarelli (My Morning Jacket, The Shins, White Stripes).
