GoGo Penguin, Koyaanisqatsi (photo: Jon Bauer) Manchester trio GoGo Penguin brought a unique show to SFJazz this week, performing a new score based on Philip Glass' landmark score to the 1983 film Koyaanisqatsi. The music drew inspiration from the original but brought the band's own unique take on it, complete with the film and all of its glory.
