On March 13, alternative rock legends and San Francisco darlings Third Eye Blind will make the trek across the Bay Bridge from their digs in the Mission to perform at the Fox Theater in Oakland with support from Saves the Day. The tour is part two in support of their most recent album Screamer, which was released in October.

The band has had a prolific career, to say the least, and continues to craft undeniably infectious tunes. The title track features Alexis Krauss, frontwoman of Sleigh Bells, whose voice harmoniously complements the screaming vocals of Stephan Jenkins. Other tracks on the album such as “The Kids Are Coming (To Take You Down)” promise a similar, high-energy vibe with catchy hooks. The songs mellow out with “Got so High” and “Who Am I” feature Ryan Olson of Marijuana Death Squad and Poliça, respectively. Jenkins slips in a few signature “do-do-do”s in the former.

Guests can expect a lively performance that parallels their hallmark upbeat style — one that you do-do-do not want to miss!
