Live music returns to the oldest gay bar in the US, Oakland’s historic White Horse next Thursday, January 30! Brought to you by old pals Burger Boogaloo, Tacos Oscar and The Octopus, this show is a fundraiser for Homeless Action Center and the bands can’t be beat!
Soda Boys (pictured above) are coming from St. Louis to win your love. Three outta five songs are about soda.
Oakland’s Twompsax features Cher Strauberry from Pookie & the Poodlez! Eight outta 11 songs are less than 57 seconds long.
SF’s Dancer have been churning out sweet T. Rex coke rock since 2013 (with one song about root beer).
Local legend DJ Omar spins the best vinyl before, between, and after.
If you can’t make it, you can still support The Homeless Action Center. The Homeless Action Center (HAC) provides no-cost, barrier-free, culturally sensitive legal representation that makes it possible for people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless to access the maze of social safety net programs that provide a pathway to a better life.
