Following the one year anniversary of Kurt Vile’s eighth solo studio album, Bottle It In (Matador Records), the singer just announced his first solo tour in 10 years, with support from the beautifully fascinating baroque-pop rock lade, Cate Le Bon. What a damn delight of a partnership. Bottle It In features Vile-typical tunes laced with those clever lines and quirky energy but with a bit more sophistication than previous albums. Ahead of the tour, Vile released Bottle Back, a short documentary film directed by Ryan Scott, which features lovely behind-the-scenes moments shot up in the Catskills.
