LA’s Son Little is bringing his soul pop nu-soul to Swedish American on Monday and we highly recommend you attend.
What a refreshing discovery we made this month! Born Aaron Earl Livingston to a preacher and a teacher in Los Angeles, Little first came to international prominence with his self-titled debut, released in 2015 on ANTI- Records. Some of Son Little’s tunes off his new self-titled album feels like they’re covers of some old ’60s R&B but it’s all him and it’s got that solid modern feel and brings something else to the table. Absolutely smooth with vocals that give goosebumps and tunes that are catchy, classy and mmm…something. We’re really looking forward to this show. Come see the man at this intimate venue while you can.
As he says in track “I’m a Builder:”
“I’m speechless
that’s a sayin’ a lot”
Same.
