We are happy to announce that Cat Power–known off stage as Chan Marshall–will be playing The Fillmore as part of her 2019 North American headlining tour. Her tenth album, Wanderer, came out last fall and it is just what we’ve come to expect from Marshall. Songs are captivatingly soothing and sometimes surprising. Track “Horizon” has some auto-tune moments we weren’t expecting but that flow well with the tune. We’re intrigued and excited to see how her new effects live.

Says Marshall, “…Wanderer, the album, represents the course my life has taken in this journey – going from town to town, with my guitar, telling my tale; with reverence to the people who did this generations before me. Folk singers, blues singers, and everything in between. 
They were all wanderers, and I am lucky to be among them.”
