Oakland’s Meernaa threw a party on Saturday night at Starline Social Club to celebrate the release of their first full length, Heart Hunger. Playing with string chamber ensemble Capo and backup vocalists Taylor Vick (aka Boy Scouts) and Rose Droll, it was an evening of incredible performances by some of the Bay Area’s best musicians.

Electro-pop band Yassou kicked things off with a powerful set that included a rendition of Radiohead’s “Videotape” complete with string accompaniment.
