Zoe Keating graced SFJAZZ with her delicate and dark looped cello tunes. She brought a collection of beautiful new and old arrangements, along with her quirky humor and down-to-earth storytelling banter, which the crowd eagerly embraced.

Zoe Keating is an artist, and a unique one. Some tunes begin hovering at the platform of pristine silence, while looped arrangements gather momentum, hurtling along tracks in emotional overrive, all before whizzing through and consuming the platform in a cloud of musical mastery, where hope and despair are best friends, holding hands. Once the looped-string dust settles, the platform is seen again, in its pristine silence, as cello heartbeats holds the only clue of something remarkable passing through.
