One of the original punk-new wave bands the Pretenders performed at the Masonic last Friday night. Chrissie Hynde was in full force and gave her voice and attitude all the glory it deserves. They were supported by San Francisco’s own Chuck Prophet, who has been recording solo for a number of years and was delighted to be performing in the city he calls home.
