Clairo will perform at 3pm on Saturday, May 12, sharing Blurry Vision’s festival stage with the likes of SZA, Brockhampton, Majid Jordan, and more. The festival will continue on Sunday and close out with a set from Migos.
If you frequent the Internet, you’ve surely come across the videos for Clairo’s breakout singles “Flaming Hot Cheetos” and “Pretty Girl” by now. “4EVER” is the first new single from Clairo’s upcoming debut EP, and comes with its own home video themed visuals as well. The music video is directed, produced, filmed and edited by Cottrill herself, further adding to her growing list of talents as a singer, songwriter and producer. Claire plans on breaking past the “bedroom pop” label as she continues to develop as a musician, pursuing bigger sounds. She also continues to curate mixes under her alter-ego DJ Baby Benz.
On April 1, 2018 Clairo, tweeted “ep is done” and clarified the news was “no april fools joke.” diary 001 is out May 25 via FADER Label. Clairo also recently shared a cover of “Waste” by Brockhampton, the self-described “All-American Boyband” that she will share a stage with at this weekend’s festival. Clairo has also been announced as the opening act for an upcoming tour with Dua Lipa, but unfortunately is not scheduled to perform at the San Francisco show.
