Ezra Furman
Hello, it’s me again, The Bay Bridged’s sort of accidental authority on all things Ezra Furman.

The Berkeley resident is back with a video for “Suck the Blood From My Wound,” the several-fire-emoji-in-a-row opener from his latest album, Transangelic Exodus. Directed by Beth Jeans Houghton, aka Du Blonde, the whole thing is hand-drawn. I meant to tweet this when the album came out, but I forgot to: When and if a movie is ever made of my life, I want this song played over the opening credits.

Ezra’s about to head out on tour with the Visions (formerly the Boy-Friends), and swinging by San Francisco in May.
