UK dance-punk trio Shopping have returned with a punchy new full-length called The Official Body, and are set to headline a show at Rickshaw Stop on March 22 with support from Portland’s Lithics and Oakland’s the World. Following 2013’s Consumer Complaints and 2015’s Why Choose, The Official Body finds Rachel Aggs, Billy Easter, and Andrew Milk incorporating synth bass and drum pads into their standard guitar, drums, and bass setup in order to “amp up the party vibe” on their third release with FatCat Records. Watch the videos for The Official Body singles “The Hype” and “Suddenly Gone” below.

As evidenced by their stellar headlining performance at the Knockout in 2015, Shopping has quickly become one of the must-see live acts to emerge from the London DIY scene in recent years. Catch them at Rickshaw while you can, and don’t miss openers Lithics and the World.
