Women’s Audio Mission (WAM) is the only professional recording studio in the world built and run by women and located in our very own backyard. Every quarter, they host a free series called Local Sirens to feature local women musicians and performers in the Bay Area.

This time around, Local Sirens will be held at Rickshaw Stop on March 13. The night will kick off at 7pm, with a panel of women in Bay Area Hip Hop: Rocky Rivera, Chhoti Maa, and Versoul fka Babii Cris. This will be moderated by WAM founder and executive director Terri Winston.

After the panel, check out the performance series, this time featuring Rose Droll, Rocky Rivera, VerSoul, and Ruby Mountain.

Admission is free and open to all ages. Local Sirens is made possible through support from Zellerbach Family Foundation, California Arts Council, and San Francisco Arts Commission.
