We need your help.
The mission of The Bay Bridged is to encourage public appreciation of San Francisco Bay Area independent music and to provide unique opportunities for local musicians to perform, receive exposure, collaborate, and create original works. For over eleven years, our nonprofit has showcased the best of the Bay Area music scene every day on TheBayBridged.com and at events like our acclaimed Phono del Sol Music and Food Festival.
But we can’t do it alone.
Today, we’re launching our end-of-the-year fundraising drive. Through your donations, we’re better able to produce unique live events, intriguing feature stories, and expertly-curated podcasts, all created with the aim of highlighting local musicians. Your support helps us help them, and keeps our local music community close-knit and vibrant.
The Bay Bridged has spent the last decade highlighting all the music that’s being made here, by everyone from critically-acclaimed, full-time musicians to history teachers who play gigs in the evenings. With your support, we will continue to provide critical exposure for local artists, especially emerging performers struggling to gain awareness early in their careers.
We know that 2017 has been a challenging year locally and around the world, but, throughout all of the year’s struggles, the Bay Area music community remains a wellspring of creativity, inspiration, and hope. There will be myriad opportunities to be charitable as we head into the holiday season, and as you think about whom to donate to or volunteer with, we ask you to consider making a tax-deductible donation to The Bay Bridged to support the working musicians in your community.
You can support The Bay Bridged with a tax-deductible donation by clicking the donate button above or visiting our fundraising page. We also hope you’ll join us for our holiday fundraiser party (free with RSVP) on December 13.
Every donation helps! Thank you for supporting Bay Area independent music!
