Adam Dragland is a country boy at heart. Hailing from British Columbia, he grew up surrounded by mountains and wilderness, and he still finds comfort in venturing out into the wide-open spaces.

People familiar with Dragland’s other music projects might know him from his work with Bowie-worshipping cult: The First Church of the Silversexual, one of the misfits in Kat Robichaud’s Misfit Cabaret, or as one of the founding members of Gold Minor. Departing from these glammy, showy productions, Dragland is getting back to his folksy, rock and roll roots with his latest band, releasing a new self-titled album: Dragland. The result is a down-to-earth album that captures the beauty in the everyday. Come hear it for yourself at their Wednesday record release.
