So you’re at your desk looking for a nice break in your work day. Or you’re maybe in bed, but you’re just not ready to put that phone down for another few hours. Well then, you should probably check out the new music video from Toronto quartet band Pup.
It’s a choose-your-own adventure music video for their song “Old Wounds.” The song is off their second record The Dream is Over, an album that was a front-runner for many’s best of ’16 lists. And as the kids would say, this video is “lit.” Combining Pup’s brand of high-energy pop-punk and 8-bit console games, it’s got everything you need to burn a few hours on the ol’ net.
But you should probably just go see them live, because their set is a barn-burner. Sunday’s show at Bottom of the Hill is sold out, but you can snag some free tickets to their show in Oakland on Monday night.
To enter for a chance to win tickets to see Pup at Starline on September 11, email email@example.com with “Pup” in the subject line and your full name in the body of the email. A winner will be selected at random and notified via email.
