Bay Area veterans team up with the up-and-coming rookies for the DMP Music Festival, an all-day affair of live music and dance performances along with DJs at SoMa Street Food Park‘s first ever large-scale arts event.

The lineup is an ode to Northern California’s rap legacy: Hyphy legends such as Too $hort and Mistah FAB highlight the festival’s bill alongside a taste of new Bay Area blood in Rexx Life Raj, Show Banga and Young Bari, plus many others. A slew of local DJs — DJ Midnight, DJ Patrix, Just Theo, to name a few — will be holding it down throughout the day as patrons enjoy a wide variety of local food trucks offering anything from pizza and barbecue to Filipino and Peruvian cuisine.
