Following Mystery Science Theater 3000’s successful Kickstarter reboot and return to households across the world thanks to a fresh season of the show on Netflix, creator Joel Hodgson and the cast of the show will be hitting the road for the first ever MST3K live tour. The tour will reach San Francisco’s Warfield Theater on Wednesday and Thursday, July 26 and 27.

The Mystery Science Theater 3000 tour, dubbed the Watch Out For Snakes Tour, will bring Hodgson’s narration with new host Jonah Ray, Hampton Yount, and Baron Vaughn as Crow T. Robot and Tom Servo, not to mention Rebecca Hanson as Gypsy and Synthia. Checking in via pre-recorded video screens will be Kinga Forrester (Felicia Day) and TV’s Son of TV’s Frank (Patton Oswalt).

For now there is no official word on a second season of MST3K being brought to Netflix, but that doesn’t bother Hodgson, who has explained that he already envisioned the characters being rebooted on stage in part due to his experience working stage setups with Cinematic Titanic, a variation on the same premise as MST3K.

The tour will present two separate showings when it can, usually an early and a late show in the same day. San Francisco has been lucky enough to host each show independently across two nights at the Warfield. One show takes shots at an unannounced “Surprise Secret Film!” and is only being shown at 11 venues of the tour, while the main event will feature a brand new spin upon Eegah!, the fan favorite rock and roll-infused caveman flick starring Richard Kiel and subject of one of the original episodes. But don’t worry, the jokes will be brand new and the event promises audience participation sure to make each night unique.

Doors open each night at 7pm and the show will start promptly at 8pm.
