Local rock band Sleepy Sun have released a video for their single “Seaquest.” The dream-like video jumps between the band performing, sailing, and swimming, creating a very trippy and smooth vibe. The single is off of their soon-to-be-released fifth album entitled Private Tales, which is out June 9 through Dine Alone Records.

This the second single from this album. After playing together for 10 years, Sleepy Sun blend effortlessly for a undeniably polished and sleek sound. Guitarist for the band Matt Holliman said in a press release that “As with most of our videos, we pretty much give the director free reign and encourage their interpretation of the song.” He added, “Swimming with sunglasses takes a little practice.” Luckily, you’ll get a chance to see Sleepy Sun perform live soon.
