Hinds are hitting the West Coast once again, this time with their pals from Chicago’s Twin Peaks. The two bands are in the midst of a co-headline tour with support form White Mystery. Catch all three bands at The Chapel on April 13 and 14.
As soon as both Hinds and Twin Peaks were confirmed for Coachella this year, the two up-and-coming indie rock acts took the opportunity to join forces. Hinds are taking a break from recording their second album to play several North American cities, alternating headline slots with Twin Peaks. The Spanish four-piece quickly gained notoriety with the release of their 2015 debut, Leave Me Alone, selling out shows at Rickshaw Stop in the past. Listen to Hinds’ recent cover of Los Nastys’ “Holograma” below.
Twin Peaks recently announced an upcoming live double LP called Urbs in Horto. The live album will include songs recorded during the band’s shows at Metro and Thalia Hall in Chicago in December 2016. Check out “Have You Ever? (Live at Thalia Hall)” below for a taste of the retrospective release. Twin Peaks’ latest studio album, Down In Heaven, was released in May 2016 via Grand Jury.
Chicago’s favorite brother and sister duo White Mystery will round out the pair of all-ages shows at The Chapel on April 13 and 14.
