In Live This Month, we sample some of the great local and out-of-town bands performing in the coming month in the San Francisco Bay Area.
This month’s concert picks include buzzed-about emerging artists like Vagabon and Lisa Prank (both on stellar SF label Father/Daughter Records), as well as opportunities to check out rock veterans like Teenage Fanclub and James Chance & The Contortions, who both released new albums last year. The mix is also chock-full of great local bands, including excellent tunes from Fake Your Own Death, Emotional, Gary With A Circle Around The “A”, False Priest, and The Sam Chase & The Untraditional.
