2016 production intern Sadie (right) keeps things running at last year’s Phono del Sol.
It’s true — your favorite local music blog is hiring college interns to support several different departments from February to July of 2017.
Our intern program is a little different than most — we can promise you real, useful, hands-on experience that will not involve one single coffee run. Interns will work side-by-side with our staff and volunteers to produce written and illustrated content for the blog, keep our social media sites running, and help produce our flagship music festival, Phono del Sol. In return, we can give you class credit, professional additions to your portfolio, and probably a beer or two if you’re over 21.
Check the jobs page for official descriptions and requirements. Applicants must be based in the Bay Area, as some time in our San Francisco office will be required.
