Believe it or not, this Saturday marks the five-year anniversary of monthly San Francisco dance party Push The Feeling. Resident DJs Kevin Meenan and Marcogliese (f.k.a. YR SKULL) will be spinning your favorite dance, house, and disco edits between the hours of 10pm and 2am on January 7 at Underground SF. Whether you’re a veteran of the series or a newcomer (maybe you recently turned 21), there is no better time to head over to the Lower Haight and see what Push The Feeling is all about. This time around, entry is free all night with an RSVP.
Push The Feeling was founded by Kevin Meenan and Andrew Marcogliese in 2012. Sharing a common vision, the duo sought to provide their own neighborhood with an affordable option for checking out the latest sounds in underground electronic music. While the monthly party often specializes in showcasing local talent, out of town headliners such as YACHT, LA Vampires, Octo Octa, and Peaking Lights Acid Test have been flown in to headline from time to time.
For club-quality sounds with affordable DIY house show vibes, Push The Feeling’s five year anniversary party is the place to be his Saturday night.
