Waterstrider at The Catalyst, by Joshua Huver

Two Bay Area rockers have combined forces with Danger Mouse‘s 30th Century Records for a West Coast run that will stop at Brick and Mortar Music Hall on Friday, December 2.

Oakland’s own Waterstrider are coming off a relatively high summer: They released their debut album Nowhere Now and were tapped as the sole opening act for The Pixies world tour warm-up run in California. Berkeley’s Nine Pound Shadow round out the bill, the project of brothers Breandain and Christopher Langlois. They’re currently enjoying the wave of support that they have received in the Bay Area and from Danger Mouse personally.

Headlining the SF date will be Rhode Island rock trio Arc Iris, who will continue up the West Coast through December.
