While your brains might be filled with various thoughts this week (turkey, Tofurky, finishing up work before getting to eat all the turkey/Tofurky, pie, more pie, napping, hanging out with family, how to avoid discussing recent politics with family, more pie, researching the best Cyber Monday deals . . . etc.), we’d like to remind you of one more thing: our extra-special Giving Tuesday event is next week!

Seeing as the upcoming Black Friday/Cyber Monday both represent a level of peak consumerism, #givingtuesday exists to balance that all out – to encourage charity after many days of consumption, and to kick off the beginning of what many perceive as the yearly charitable season.

There are many ways to participate in Giving Tuesday, and we’re here to ask you to consider our organization and our special event when next Tuesday, November 29th rolls around.

By attending our event, you will be generously supporting a local non-profit, as well as the local independent music scene. For over 10 years, our The Bay Bridged has been showcasing the best of the San Francisco Bay Area independent music scene, providing critical exposure to support local artists. Our work is especially important for emerging performers struggling to gain audiences early in their careers.

As a bonus, our event will include amazing music by M. Lockwood Porter, free beer while supplies last, food by Sneaky’s BBQ, as well as a raffle and prices, all at Standard Deviant Brewing.

We would be honored if you would join us!
