Berkeley’s newest venue offered a time loop back to 2006 this past weekend. Though Imusicast is no longer around, The Matches returned home to the East Bay for the 10-year-anniversary of the band’s sophomore album, Decomposer. In true L3 fashion, the band filled The UC Theatre with loud, local, live music on Saturday, November 19. The set was full of high-energy antics and nostalgic crowdsurfers, including the band’s singer Shawn Harris. Though the venue was full of eager concertgoers, the band still offered an intimate set by joining the crowd numerous times and playing a song in the middle of the general admission floor.
