Thanksgiving in San Francisco is about to get a major infusion of funk.

On Saturday, November 26, with two days to recover from familial obligations surrounding Turkey Day, Detroit-based electro-soul saxophone extraordinaire GRiZ and the impeccable talents of Boston-based funk legends Lettuce will team up for a special Funksgiving event at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.

Lettuce and GRiZ have shared the stage twice prior, both in 2016. First at the inaugural Fool’s Paradise Music Festival in Florida early this year, and an under-the-radar Outside Lands late-night party at The Independent in August.

This show is the 38th and final stop for GRiZ on his Good Will Prevail tour, a tour that has included acts such as STS9, Louis Futon, Haywyre, and Brasstracks. The latter two will also be warming the crowd up in SF.
