Singer Skylar Grey kicked off her US tour at The Regency Lodge right in the heart of San Francisco. The venue is located upstairs in the prestigious building, a baroque ballroom that was fitting for somber and emotional show that was on display that night.

It wasn’t a huge crowd, but Grey still put on a show that felt a bit bigger than the crowd and venue suggests. Opener Morgxn was on warm-up duty and did a good job at getting people involved. His last song, “Boys Don’t Cry,” was beautifully delivered, the only sound in the room were the vibrations of a loose snare drum. Check out the impressive gallery below of both bands by our photographer Robert Alleyne.
