Jane’s Addiction (photo: Patric Carver)
Wednesday night saw Perry Farrell and his iconic hard rock band Jane’s Addiction take the stage at The Masonic for a night of classic songs that dominated the radio in the alternative ’90s. Opener Fishbone displayed great talent too, in energy and pure skill, and the level of musicianship among the members was astounding. When Jane’s Addiction took the stage it was hit after hit, with Farrell still enthusiastic and having a blast on stage, giving out positive vibes to the audience. Guitarist Dave Navarro shredded his guitar in an expected excellent fashion, and Stephen Perkins gave his all too. The go-go dancers in the back gave a different touch from the many Jane’s Addiction shows that have come and gone, but didn’t seem too out of place all things considered. Check out the great gallery below of both bands by our photographer Patric Carver.
