Preeminent hip-hop and cultural icons Nas and Ms.Lauryn Hill have announced a coming together for several tour dates including two Bay Area appearances in November on Hill’s MLH Caravan Tour.
“The MLH Caravan allows me to continue the theme of unity and celebration of the many facets of cultural and artistic beauty throughout the African diaspora while on tour this summer and fall,” said Ms. Hill. “In these days of tension, tumult and transition, an exchange of this kind can yield direction, expression, understanding and empowerment as well as connection, self love and appreciation that hopefully overflows into our respective communities.”
Hopefully having shows in the same area will give her drivers enough time to familiarize themselves with the layout and plan for traffic. Ms. Hill has a notorious dedication to her craft and her mindset, which has not always but frequently leads to her arriving late (up to two hours) to her shows to an anxious crowd.
