Natural Child Album cover

Nashville-based rock and roll quartet Natural Child will hit the Bay Area for a pair of shows in support of their latest release, Okey Dokey, available this Friday, September 16.

After playing close to 200 shows for three years, they have been taking it easy lately but are hitting the road starting this Saturday. The band just announced more than 30 upcoming dates that will take the band across the country into December, including Wednesday, September 28 at The Crepe Place in Santa Cruz and Thursday, September 29 at The Chapel in San Francisco.

Natural Child sports Zack Martin on drums, Benny Divine on keys, and the shared vocal harmonies of bassist Wes Traylor and guitarist Seth Murray to create music that they think stands out. Okey Dokey is the group’s first new music in two years;

Okie Dokie is also the debut release on their new label, Natural Child Records and Tapes. Natural Child started recording the album in Memphis and completed it in Chicago, where they worked alongside Cooper Crain. Check out the lead single off the record, “Sure Is Nice,” right here.

Supporting acts include fellow Nashville high-energy psych-punk act Faux Ferocious for the majority of the tour and local openers at each venue. At The Crepe Place, Santa Cruz’s own Watergate Sandals will take the first slot, and Oakland’s own Froogy’s Groovies will open at The Chapel.
