Earlier this week was the annual celebration from the legendary hip-hop Hieroglyphics crew, their Oakland-proud block party and love letter to Oakland, Hiero Day. The festival featured many other mainstays of the genre, ranging from established artists like Too Short to Mr. Lif and plenty more. Overall it was a good-vibes day, the streets packed with a variety of fans of the music and the weather meant for some music outside as a celebration of hip-hop and its culture in the Bay.
